"Joe Frogger" Sundae
A delicious treat set atop maple walnut ice cream.
Served only on Sundays as part of our Sunday Supper. (See column two).
Though the history of the cookie states that it was taken on long journeys out to the Grand Banks by fishermen, we prefer you eat it right here with us. After some extensive research on the famed Marblehead cookie, we have brought a version to our Sunday Supper in the form of a Frogger Sundae.
The ingredients include ginger, molasses and a bit of the "old rhum". In this case we use Goslings Black Seal Bermuda Rum which adds an authentic flavor to snap you back in time. Old Joe and Aunt Crese would be proud that we are continuing the tradition of the Frogger
at The Landing Restaurant.

Tuesday Charity Nights
A great success for all of us has been the Charity Nights on Tuesdays during the winter months. We have spoken to many local groups and have had them respond to our invitation. Using the dining room on select tuesday nights, we at The Landing will donate 20% of the sales generated. The charity may use the room for a special event with raffles or auctions or simply ask people to make reservations and enjoy dinner. We have donated well over $10,000 to these events and much more has been raised by auctins and raffles.
This month we are supporting :
Feb 10 - The Marblehead Little Theatre
Feb 17 - The Lupus Research Foundation
(Ticket purchase required)
Feb 24 - The Jewish Rehabilitation Center
Please call us for more information on joining us for these events. If you would like to have your charity considered for our 2010 campaign, speak with Robert soon.

Keep the good times coming!
Well, here we are in a New Year with a new President but the same old cold weather that is New England. We are doing things this month to get you out of the house and into the restaurant so you can enjoy the winter blues with friends. Keep in mind our specials for lunch and Sunday dinner and take comfort in the fact that baseball season will be upon us soon. We hope to see you at our events and look forward to serving you.
Sincerely,
Robert Simonelli
