Sunday May 24th The Landing Celebrates 38-Years 38 years in Total and 11 Years as "The New Landing" Although we changed a few things and took over the reigns in 1999, it started in 1972 with Jack Veasey and Tom Kershaw and after a recent conversation with Tom we know our bar was built for us in England. Come down and see an authentic English Pub. We are happy to carry on the traditions of the past with many of our patrons who have been with us all these years. Maybe we'll see a dart board in the corner some Tuesday night in the future? Any suggestions for us? May 24th is our Birthday, what's yours? Send an email and let us know.
Chef Stephen James Adds A new Chardonnay from Caymus Vineyards, Mer Soleil is only available by the bottle but with a taste so delicious a glass just wouldn't do. Domaine Brunet gives us two offerings in the shape of a Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay. These French wines are touted for their freshness and flavors that each grape provides. The Pinot Noir is soft strawberries bursting in your mouth and the Chardonnay has the taste of toasted oak. The Austrians have produced wines for centuries and one of our new summer favorites is Hopler Gruner Veltliner. This white grape is light, bright and full of flavors.
Laurel Glen vineyards comes in with a wine simply called "REDS". A Zinffandel pumped up with Petit Sirah.
Terra Noble Sauvignon Blanc hails from Chile and has mounds of grapefruit flavor and other tropical fruits.
